I think memberships run through year end rather than season-by-season, so you'll probably get a renewal email later in the year.
Don't know much about household memberships and how to add them. It might be an option when you renew.

"Your membership is valid until 31st December 2019, so you do not need to renew your membership at this time."
There's a contact for the Members Sec so will ping them I guess.

I think from memory you can do just that and they will add on a family member for you

Can anyone hit me up with a 100km route from Kings Cross to Cambridge, safe for a numpty who's likely to be a bit dozy on the way back.
I'm thinking of the Cambridge Autumnals at end of October. -

A few in here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/150760/
My one: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/71351
(Bikely, blimey, remember that) I've used 20+ times. Easily adapted to a KX start.
Stretching it to 100km from KX to Cambridge will be tricky, that's probably only 85km or so.

Missus is now 'on the books'. We got side-by-side membership numbers, how cute.
£6 for the rest of this year and 2019. They can't extend my existing membership though. -

This could be a good base. This Cambridge autumnal thing sounds interesting, I feel like I’m on the edge of relapsing into Audax.

I normally go out on the Lea, Lee? canal path thingie. Basically what RWGPS does when I want it to take me to Gt Dunmow, tweaked.
Ah, I see you want to extend stuff. Mine is just getting there quickly.

Cheer folks.
I'llprobably Tube it from Hounslow across to Cockfosters, then ride from there. Don't want to push my nice new Sturmey Archer freewheel too hard.
Tough choices - what I'll probably end up doing is the Ditchling Devil Perm because it practically goes past my doorstep. On another day too.

That bikely route looks just the ticket - I know my way to Putney.
Its always slightly over distance, but if I ride the 100, I should still be home before I turn back into a mouse.
Cheers

Here's a Strava version of it that's probably better suited to downloading for a GPS track: https://www.strava.com/activities/163173147

@WornCleat is a good person to ask about riding to Cambridge
-
• #8339
Nah, he kept repeating himself so must've been getting it wrong...

So we've started a new Audax season, what are peoples plans for this year?
I may ride less long stiff this winter, I've not decided yet - we will see how cold it gets!
Loosely, my main aims are finish my third RRTY, SR, PBP, 50 points and a try a few 200's on fixed.
I would like to go hyper but it's unlikely this is the season it will happen. If I manage the above, I will need another 50 points the following year for the Brevet 25000 award.

Ditchling Devil tomorrow to kick me off.........
Then who knows.
Wessex SR entries sent so thats a goal.
Got designs on doing more 300s, especially now I've got a Garmin - 34rides to Oxford and back would put me on R10'000?
Assuming, nobody has done anything silly in September, I do have a crap plastic trophy to retain after all.I figure, all the time I spent travelling to AWE and MH on the train could be put to good use riding the extra 100k each time - I have to conjure 12points from somewhere as PBP is definitely off
-
• #8342
I think that looks like the final standings, certainly Andy didn't do anything else so chapeaux to you!
R.e. AWE that's why I ride The Shark so many times no travel time as it's pretty much door to door. I'm working every weekend this month so hoping to utilise my days off to rack up a load of early points.

Hyper is the 4x600 thing isn't it? That's what I'm planning for next year. Still want to do a 1000km and I want to do longer stuff but probably won't do PBP if I'm doing TCR again so maybe an alternative. Borders of Belgium, Crackpot, Maniac although I should do the Wessex 600 first.

The Shark and the GMC were also on my list but I didn't do either.
Some of these I've done and some probably don't run but if I get a

I can quite neatly turn AWE and MH into 300 DIYs but I'm not sure how much AAA they'll get. Judging by most if the downgrading thats happened, I suspect about 4.5 - but then I'm fucked for work the next day. GMC wiped me out.
I'm not sure I'm going to hit AAA so much this season.
I'm hoping for 10pts by end of Oct (DD,DD, Orbital 300 and Cambridge Autumnal + ECE.)
I need to find a formula that works and I can stick to the plan. DD is nice, I've ridden it a few tomes and its a ride to the coast, which is always a delight.
I've got the taste for GPS validation now too, but Pat's EWE Baa perm is another onethat starts real close that I like- very quick route too.
A very lazy 400 for me is DD+DDinReverse - I've got permission on that one.
Its all weather dependant of course - absolutely no snow or ice riding this winter. -
• #8346
Still in two minds over PBP but think I'll do the SR anyway. Keen to do this http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/19-586/
-
• #8347
I was umming and arring both these. They look great.
I couldn't justify either though, especially as Paris is closer than Blackpool!
I can take a day and spend £5 on coke and a loaf bread many times over, but a whole week of holiday is off limits. -
• #8348
Are the 1000 and 1200 basically the same routes for most of it, with the 1200 going a bit further north?
-
• #8349
Starts Friday. Just make sure you're done before the weekend's over :)
-
• #8350
I do think these look good, I love riding in Scotland but I've been waiting four years for PBP to come around again!
I can't see how to actually add her on or renew. It just says I'm already a member.
