Do we at least agree that it's a lovely bike?

aren't you missing the fact that the chainstay bridge is the reason the wheel can't go all the way forward
the distance between slamming the wheel and the current gap are about the same...

Just when I thought this had been amicably resolved!

it's a lovely bike?
No it isn't, it's horrid. Triple triangles make sure of that before we even get to the fact that the builder accidentally cut the chainstays too short and tried to cover the error by bending the seat tube.

I have a soft-spot for Hellenics.
Here's mine:
Builder cut the chainstays too long, so just bent them to make them shorter!

MKM ultimate. I figure the 'ultimate' refers to the amount of toe lap.

Thanks for the reminder. I was just saying how the MKM Ultimate @Sig_Arlecchino posted reminded me of @tilover 's old bike, that's all. I would quite like for it to be mine ;)

Ah. That is the standard response.
Just found the earlier likephrased critique up page amusing for just how unreasonable a call out it, hence this.
...it would need a seatpost with more set back. Or, to put it another way, to hit that saddle set back, the tube angle would have to be slacker and a straight one would still hit the tyre.
