truly amazing, how much time and cash did that take- i'm quite tempted (to build a frame)
-

that's quite a bike!
and on the other issue, I like bigger bikes. Especially with steel frames. They just look more elegant. Although past 62 cm and it's pushing it a bit.

wow, what a beautiful bike. such elegance.
if only it had an aerospoke..

yeah take those deep v's off

You can keep the bike but I love the wheel and tyre combo. Very sweet!

edmundane yeah take those deep v's off
Yeah, a lot of people don't like the deep v's on there but that's cool. I've been riding deep v's (road and fixed) for like 5+ years now and I just prefer them. I mean they're bombproof! I've never had a set go out of true despite the gnarly streets I ride on...

CyclingWMD Here's my Bilenky 'Hetchins Tribute' Track Bike...
I am going to say two conflicting things, firstly this bike is not my kind of thing, the whole Jules Verne Messenger thing never really sparked it for me, but on the other hand regardless of my personal indifference it is undoubtedly a stunning looking bike (apologies for the cognitive dissonance!) - I can appreciate this in the same way I would a classic car, I have no love of them, but when you see a good one you know it.
Great photography too.
I would have gone for Champagne corks in the bar ends ! ;P

the gold bell is a nice touch easily one of the best looking bikes i have seen but whats it like to ride?

Big bikes work asthetically as a steel road frame IMHO but not much else, I have a 23" specialized Rockhopper mountainbike and it just looks odd, wheels look too small, frame looks too tall and tubes too skinny, just out of proportion, I'm building a 21" Voodoo Dambala now (29er steel mtb) will be interesting to see if that is any more balanced looking.

i think it's awesome, i think the deep v's blend in nicely. only gripe is the nitto seat post, something a little more vintage is required ie classic campag. -

That thing is pathetic. What a waste of space.
I'm liking the pearlescent white finish, but those yellow rims are yuck.
