So modern bikes *can *look pretty. I don't think I've ever seen SRAM Red suit a bike (Cannondale) so well.

Probably 9 speed rather, it's possible to mix Shimano and Campag with some tinkering, or an adaptor to change pull ratio (like jtek).

That dale is chris pino's bike from my team. Its not tiltshift is a regular 85 or 50mm with a healthy dose of color editing

^ nope, a) they're crabon and b) you can see the Reynolds logo on them.

That 'Dale is *so *sleek and it's a pleasure to see the brakes properly cabled, forrin style.

If the derailleur cables ran into the other stops (and crossed under the down tube) then cable-rub and those friction-tastic double bends would be eliminated too.

Heh, that was the thing that stood out to me- I've cabled me Julie's Klein in that exact manner to prevent cable rub on the head tube, looks much better as well with the single smooth curve.

Shaved a couple of grammes in Helicopter tape and outer cable too.

I like the dale, but it's a bit too OTP in my opinion. Nothing really sets it apart for me. But I would ride the shit out of it. But statements like 'I'm lost for words...' Really? It's not that special.

I walked into Cycle lab in Pitfield street the other day and they have a set of Assault (with full set of stickers so that's why I didn't recognise on the 'dale above) on sale... Ask the guy "do they take shimano or campagnolo?" He went like "no, i they are just reynolds i think..."
