very very toight
i try to give a summary:
- tight clearance
- needs a silver seatpost
- wheelset doesn't suit the bike very well (needs a classic one)
- rim sticker fail
- frame sticker fail (yellow on white, i can't understand)
- why do people ride brakeless but use rims with a machined sidewall? though there's no possibility to mount a brake on this frame/fork.

small furry what is that bike that you call a shopper?

although the yellow characters do have black outlines the following colour provides a better/higher contrast,
which enhances readability and preserves my eyes from eye-cancer.
i'm not gay, but i do love purple!are you going to be convinced haj?

why do people ride brakeless but use a HED3 that have a machined sidewall? oh wait, there isn't a non-machined version!

BTW if your after a small wheeled shopper/ carpark racer.
In true Blue Peter style, heres one I posted earlier.See, I wouldn't trust that frame. For me its an exercise in design for the sake of it

dear superprecise,
i'm a liberal person.
it's not my aim giving people advises how to get their bikes 'well' designed.b u t :
i thought this forum is a platform for our thoughts and some kind of 'speakers corner'.

why do people ride those HED3 at all?

There is a non-machined verion (called the HED 3 Carbonlite)

Mostly they look nice and a few hardcore roadies probably go for the aero advantage.

thank you tynan.
edscoble you haven't done your homework well...
maybe you can ask tynan for some private lessons? -

my point is that it's a bit of a useless point to make about riding brakeless with machined sidewall, especially when there's a lot of rims that only come with machined sidewall, like the mavic.
I have a machined sidewall rims because it's cheaper than a non-machined one, plus the full carbon HED3 is tub-only, point still stand.

All of the above seems to be the group consensus on all things fixed, happily re-affirmed by hoards of people on a minute by minute basis like anyone really gives a monkeys. It's well boring.

Reminds me of....
I wanted one of these so bad after the Ally Pally bike show one year where two dudes had neon green ones.
-
• #7992
is it i don't like them, because i'm way too poor to afford one?
or is it my inability to dignify things which people use to find attractive? -
• #7993
Those carbon sidewalls are tubs though right? Don't make a full carbon clincher

I know it''s absolutely incredible isn't it !!! What could have possibly happened in these people's lives that would make them do such a thing. I have sat here and thought about this, but there is absolutely no possible reason I can think of this how this could possibly happen, like I say it is just fucking perplexing, I am right now churning is a sea of cognitive dissonance.

superprecise
by car it's about 1000km from where i live to london.
how long does it take by bike?
if we both go half the way maybe we could meet up in belgium
and be 'not gay' together...it seems like it has to stay a platonic 'not gay' relationship. :|
a friend of mine just told me one sold on ebay for buy it now $300 GBP, I had read they were not in circulation until March 09? not sure how that happened?...anyway.... thats a whole lota moohlah for a saddle...
