Yes, both.
I don't know, I think it's the little looking saddle.

I agree with most of your points, but imo there is a definite theme on the colour of the parts - the bits which you can get in silver are silver. The finishing kit, hubs, spokes, etc. all tie together. Just having two black components doesn't ruin it.
+1. I'm not massively keen on that *particular *crank but from an aesthetic point of view generally, I'd only be trying to go all matchy silver if it's a genuine period build. With modern parts on a steel bike, I'm happy to mix up carbon, alu, steel if that means mixing up black, grey and silver. Even for a predominantly black build, I'd rather have silver spokes and hubs cos I think black wheels look heavy.

I reckon carbon shelled Flite, disc rear wheel and Zipp crankset.
I think it needs one more accent that is the same colour as the stem to balance it also, as the Corima logo's are slightly more orange.
Maybe a yellow ring around the hub of the disc wheel in the same shade as the Ergo stem?
-
• #79644
maybe the ergostem needs powdercoating in the Corima yellow? it's original shade was probably much brighter...
-
• #79645
Tricky to do.
I might go for two concentric circles (vinyl) on the disc, one in the Ergostem colour and one in the Corima colour, that will either be a horrific mess, or will serve to draw the two different shades together.
TM needs to pull his finger out and get a disc so we can test this hypothesis.

Fixed lug angles?
True, but if custom you can ask for fillet brazing?
Just me I guess, I wouldn't want to have to resort to a layback seatpost on a frame I order custom. -

Tough crowd. Ergo colour is worse match irl.
Still, thinking back to how it looked when I got it (a state) think I done good.
Just need a disc, would settle for tub if track. Wish I'd bought EEI's/xanderh's when I had the chance.
