/\ titanium with carbon b/hp stay, looks a similar to c50

  • Tester's right they're designed to flex. I could flex the seat stays on my bike enough to get brake rub before I slacked off the brake cable

Surely, Its more likely you were just flexing the back wheel?

  • How about starting a stem porn thread?

    There sort of is one.

  • ...

Holy shitballs, that's some crazy geometry

  • Holy shitballs, that's some crazy geometry

Looks like 74° seat and 75° head, a bit old fashioned but perfectly normal in the closing days of steel being relevant as a track race frame material.

    look at the ground.

  • +1 white hoods silver levers (can they be found?)

    Hudz

  • (photo)

Is that right? top tube is levelled but the front wheel is higher - fork's not original?

  • Perspective, the front wheel is further away from the camera than the rear

  • the downtube is casing a shadow on the inferior tyre.

I'd say It most likely is 76° 76°
    Like on this Biondi:

  • dat bar tape

  • From this thread. 1970s custom Ron Cooper. All original.

More you look at this, fitter it gets.

Rossin not bad either. (Suming about bars)

    Royal H looks too short?

Merci Monsieur K, didn't see this here..! :)

Just to answer about the white hoods/silver levers subject, I mounted what I found and didn't want to go through the hassle of selling these levers and finding some other ones just so it'd look better. I agree it might indeed, but was tired of having the incomplete bike sit there without riding it, couldn't wait anymore..

  • ^^ so nice

  • [click for bigger)

This is the bike that won Best City Bike at the 2013 Cirque du Cyclisme. It was shown with a large black Watanabe saddle bag. I snapped these shots just before packing it up for the show. It's a 1x10 with the MAP/Ahearne upright handlebar made by Nitto.

This bike weighs 20.5 pounds as shown. The fender hardware is all titanium, lightweight Pacenti rims/tires, titanium Brooks B17, and a silver fillet brazed True Temper S3 tubeset.

Also for sale for $3750 - 55.5cm center to center seat tube.

  • That's a MAP/Ahearne bar? is it's basically a renamed Jitensha handlebar that we know of?

  • More pictures of that ^ here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chapmancycles/8757010155/in/photostream/

The more I look at it the more I love it. Such great details:

  • Dude, you been here long enough to know anything bigger than 1023 will get changed into a link.
