One of those times where a -17deg stem looks very misplaced. Yoga + slamthatstem or just use a regular -6deg.
Show bike init, it will be cut down when it actually gets ridden

It's OK, but probably not good enough to justify being posted 3 times on the same page.
Sorry. There was some problem with server last night.

I know the group is a bit mixed and the bars aren't original, but I'd love to own a Mecacycle
my LBS has one of these for sale in my size for about 800-850 pounds iirc. lovely pearl white paint and a mixed group set with some simplex stuff etc.
I've been dreaming about putting modern campag and carbon forks on it. yes, I'm the kind of guy that loves moderne groups on old steel frames.
put of by the fear that it probably will be french threads and sizes all over.

Another one that doesn't feature anything particularly special, but all comes together to look so right and so damn fast!

It must be a fast setup but aesthetically I find this a mess, crazy long cockpit, saddle too forward and negative stem with sloping geo

i'm a bit of a fan of Kuota and their KOM frames, shame they won't be in the world tour this year.

a bit heavy isn't it?
-
• #72919
^Nope, it's the tool of his trade, he needs it to work solidly and reliably at all times. Weight weenies beware!
-
• #72920
Ironically it's way uglier than most weight weenie saddles.
-
• #72921
Or are you talking about the whole bike?
-
• #72922
well, to me is a little heavy.
I rode a steel bike with less than that.and yeah, that saddle is ugly!!!
-
• #72923
saddles have to be comfortable and we are talking about a pro bike
-
• #72924
What's so wrong with his saddle? Isn't it just a Flite TT?
-
• #72925
Looks like a Flite to me, ugly as sin, ancient, heavy, comfortable (still got one on my pub bike)! A mate of mine has a 5kg climbing bike, it is seriously fragile. I reckon most of us would benefit more from a little less 'us' than a little less bike.....
