It's really down to personal preference rather, I loved the classic drop because of being able to comfortably reach the brake from the drop compare to compact.

Plus with modern brake hood being big enough to actually rest your hand on, the lack of flat top on classic drop isn't much of an issue.

I prefer being in the drops with the gradual curve of compacts over the flats of classic drop, find it easier to hold on.

I will be changing to classic drop as soon as I can be bothered.

The reason us mortals love our compact bars is the short reach, and short drop demand less flexibility.

Also that Bishop is fucking hideous mess and a shameful waste of a lovely rare Air tubes. Also why are the brake stays fat while the chain stays are thin?

^^ Hmmm, when I first got my CX it came with FSA Wing in 44cm, but I prefer a wider bar as I had been using 46cm Ergonovas.

But they only have a flat(ish) transition on the tops when the drops are pointing at my rear hub, which wasn't a problem on a fixed bike with no levers and no need for flatness, but is taking some time to get used to, as it also provides far more than 125mm drop and 75mm reach with a flat transition. probablydoingitallwrong

But as I have big hands, long fingers, hyper mobility, and can touch my toes with palms flat on the floor, I should have no problems.

My bar tape is not gonna like me much if I keep playing around!
