I cannot explain how much I freakin love gumwalls but on black rims with machined braking surfaces, they just look kinda meh.
Merckx, ways not to lock your bike >>>
But it is lovely. Apart from machined rims.
How long until we passive-aggresive forum bully Stormp into changing his rims?
STORMP MATE YOUR BIKE LOOKS SHIT MATE MACHINED RIMS ARE YOU FUCKING SPARE?

The merckx is my bike.
Well, I dont mind the machined surface. If the surface should have been black i should either have taiwan carbon rims or a set of mavic slrs.
Mavic slr is quite expensive and I like the tune hubs alot!
I dont really trust taiwan carbon, and open pro is an allround good, "light" rim, not a bad thing about thoose. Maybe silver open pro would be better, but im quite happy about it.Thanks all for the comments.
Just being fussy really as we like to be in this thread. If it was mine I would actually have gone for the CD open pros as I did with my last road bike but that's just my preference. It is an awesome build, much nicer than anything I've ever built and well worthy of this thread imo. + Sounds like you're happy with the rims which is what really matters.

If it weren't for the dodgy paint job that'd be incredible, although the saddle looks a bit out of place to me as well.

Repost from a while ago. Think it was from classifieds. Awesome tho. One of my favorite bikes, even with the wierd paint job.

fucking gluebulars can be spotty to mount while having a drink. I have a front i've been too lazy to redo that looks a bit like the tower in pisa.

Good old Microsoft. They can translate "My Documents" but not "Documents and Settings".

Surely, if they're off his computer; it's probably his bike, no?

Andy, if the image is on your computer... and you turn your computer off, how do we see it?
And if the image is on your computer... and your network or operating system prevents us from accessing it (it definitely does), how do we see it?
You need to take your image and upload it to somewhere on the internets that it will be publically available.
The forum allows you to do that here, just hit "reply" rather than "quick reply". And then do "manage attachments" below the post.
Then you can upload the image.
No matter how many times you make posts in which you include the "C:\Documents and Settings" path, they will never, ever, ever work.
