^^^ I think the Leggenda and Leggenda For3 frames are totally lush. Yes the Leggenda does have a certain resemblance to 'dale tracks, but I like them also! Would I like a custom, hand made to measure 'dale track in my choice of paint? HELL YES!
And the Leggenda For3 is even better looking. -

Hi,
Final installment on what has turned out to be a 2 year (re)build. My 97 GT Tempest (not Zaskar.. couldn't get nos Tempest stickers) from when I was err 14 was my first 'proper' bike and subsequently initiated my interest in cycling and a long line of bikes from xc, dh, bmx and road/fixed.So here it is.. I originally started the build as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek, everything must be anodised, mid-90's, trash-retro/beater pub bike... but I became a little bit sentimental about it and nostalgic about the whole period and process, I actually quite like the result. Essentially this is pretty much how I would have built it if I had had the money back then.
Its been chopped and cut and generally bastardised, cable guides removed, drilled for internal hydraulic lines, some welds filed and smoothed, ooo and I'm running it single speed too. As mentioned its not a Zaskar, I couldn't get the correct stickers... but I doubt my 14 year old self would have given a shitDIY internal cable routing
Cheers Colin
Loved this. Surprised it didn't get gears, I have a GT similar age (had it since I was 11 or 12) which I still ride, it's been completely upgraded and is due a new wheelset but I'm looking forward to some adventures with it over the summer.

^ Land Shark paintjobs are usually killer but that looks like a primary school window display
Love this, but it should have toe clips:

^^ The GT:
Nice build but I don't think porn. The frame hasn't the correct geometry for the 4'' Bombers. Plus the tires are wrong. Anodized bits spot on though.

^^
The landshark's paint is mental but will be to someone's taste.
I don't know anyone who goes in for wonky saddles, pie-plates and wired computers. -

What's funny is, all this time people have been saying you don't get the right geo with a long fork on an older frame, I've always thought my GT handled great for the riding I do, think it's got 120mm bombers on it, lazy geo but great handling blasting down hills and over the rough...
Check out the latest breed of hardtail, they're all day bikes with intentionally lazier geo...

Loving the headtube on that Ritte... they're always such nicely put together builds.

Regardless of how "nuts" LS paint jobs are they usually just look gash imo. I actually quite like that one.
The Nishiki isn't really porn.... more of a standard quill stemmed road bike that you've bought of ebay, but haven't got around to setting up properly.
