Looks nice but rather light everything and a 300+g seatpost? And that gearing?

It's a cross bike, weight weenie seatposts are not necessarily a good plan if you're going to be jumping on them 50 times per race.

no, but theres a reason for that...

It's nice apart from that dopey little chainring/crank combo. What was a solid 7 now scapes in at a paltry 4/10*

^ i think that they will be able to get nicer rims now that they dont need braking surfaces so wheels might get a better ride, but the extra mechanisms aren't exactly aero and as tester pointed out spoke counts might have to go up too. Roadies are more worried about aerodynamics than weight these days
Both will go up though. More spokes = more weight & drag. If you try and build a low spoke wheel that can withstand hub braking, then the rim is going to have to be seriously beefy. Maybe it could work for 3-5 spoke composite wheels like HED. I think they could tolerate the forces of hub braking a lot better.
Like this;
If you tucked the caliper well behind the fork leg, it should be fairly aero.

no, but it isn't porn with that chainset.
edit; for last picture on previous page.

this is very nice, but what's going on with the cable / wire thing between the stays and seattube? dynamo?

Integrated lock.

I don't think the caliper is where the aero problem lies. It probably isn't that hard to make a disc brake caliper with less drag than normal dual pivot rim brake calipers, but getting low drag from a disc brake rotor at realistic yaw angles looks like a tougher test. I can't see the UCI accepting WSB style shrouds

yes kissena = porn
And having a frame so big the seat post logo is partially obscured.
