Been slightly obsessed with bmxed's Giant recently, can't stop looking at it. Then this, black tape would be my choice but I'm an aging fart.

I must be one as well.I agree with you.Infact,i can't see why red was chosen.

I love the tape. I always go for mismatching saddle/tape, and that breaks up the overwhelming blackness.

The GIANT logos are already doing a pretty good job

Is it the photo? (Giant) the drops on the bars look very long.

The saddle to bar distance looks huge too - must be the photo

Re. The nutorious Nuknow has already raided the webs of all it's treasures. Including that Merckx. Unfortunately enough.
Bloody nice tho.
Sad but true.
All great but all reposts. ;) -

Photo looks like it was taken close up with a wide angle lens so a bit fish eyed.

The red tape was chosen because I wanted to try Benotto tape and it was the most fitting colour available without having to order it from America at 4x the price. Personally I quite like it, though it fits better with the other wheelsets.
It's not any lighter than the Deda tape it replaced so if it's really uncomfortable then I'll be swapping back to black. Is it the photo? (Giant) the drops on the bars look very long.

The drops do have quite a long sweep to them in real life as well, and there's a 95mm saddle to bar drop. My camera's nothing fancy so I doubt it would be the cause of any optical illusions.

Not sure about the blue accent on the belt. On balance I think I probably like that hint of colour.

Imo, that's well fugly. Not quite anti porn but certainly not deserving in a place here
-

Curvy frame hints beach cruiser, but that clashes with the skinny tyres and the relatively serious forks.
Not even functional, just anti.

Disc brakes, IHG, belt drive, rear rack braze ons, bars and widish road tyres = great commuter bike, shirley?
-

"great commuter bike" is not exactly one of the things I look for in the porn thread....
Ha! I just posted that Raleigh in the beater thread.
