Still don't know if I like it, box tubing and chunky welds would normally get blown out of here.

and the fact it's freewheel - less abusing.

they need the bead welds, without em its no nicolai

I'm going to take that as an invitation to post more pictures of it.
Totally love it. Nikolai do make some amazingly industrial frames that inspire so much confidence! I break bikes usually at an alarming rate, but I think I'd feel pretty safe on that.

Actually, haven't been riding last few years due to health issues (also the reason I'm on here at 3:15am). Starting to get slowly back on ma feet so first thing was to build another bike! :D
But before that, got through about roughly one a year. Bloody expensive when some cost upto £2500. >.<
But then some were complete pieces of crap too. Probably about £6000 total over 8yrs or so. -

Yeah I've broken 4 chains over the last year, no bikes though... I tend to just replace whatever I do break, junking a bike over a broken part seems a bit....

how do you break a bike a year? too much RAW power?
more likely? -

Wow, I love that Saronni.
I would like a white one like the "Jan van Erp tegels" team around 1980.
It deserves another saddle and seat post though.
Awesome!
I dream of having a custom cx version of this frame... love the colour, but they also do a wicked red and green (not together).
