Hmmm.... maybe at some point when I've got spare cash. I do like the idea, just for the idea's sake rather than any real point. It would most likely be a shopping bike.
The only problem is finding a 29er frame small enough.
This is confusing ;) I thought bikes were bought once they were needed, not that they are ridden because they are bought?

it's make a bit more sense for the English weather with our two weeks of snow, a normal 29ers, that can be turn into a.. well, semi-snow bike at the change of wheels (don't even need to change fork).
I reckon it would be a great thing to have if you decided to try a bit of sand riding, or even singletrack.
