I haz new race bike. full Dura Ace. Here with race Zipps. I have Roval deep section 24's for training wheel.
It's stiff, and slippery as fuck.. Just begs to go fast..
Jealous.

I just ran past my lbs window and they had almost exactly the same set up in the window... no red on the Zipps and I think I saw di2 but that frame looks shockingly fast in the flesh.

It is fast. Seems weird to say given that it can only go as fast as my legs can power. But it just begs to go fast. Effortless to pedal. Good cruising speed. And the couple of sprints I played with knocked 68KMPH with hardly any effort or any frame twitching..
I haven't ridden it with the Zipps yet either.
it's also very comfortable..

What's the function of the curved piece of metal on down/seat tube?

^^ I like it, but not sure about the silver hub, black spokes, silver nipples ensemble...

^^Did Amelio Riva build bikes or did he have bikes built in his name i.e. Riva?
I bought a womens race frame off of Dwayne about 3 years ago, it had the original paint and was badged up as a Riva but never looked in to it's origin.

magnet?

that EM build has got the right ideas going on but it just aint really working. some more discreet wheels might help it out plus some shallower bars.

It acts as a handle for when one wants to carry this path racer.

Exactly, add a more discreet saddle too I'd say. It doesn't really help that it's a smaller size frame either.

yeah the saddle's definitely shit. i do really like modern groupsets on older frames though.

Lightweight wheels on a lugged steel frame. Isn't that a little bit wanky?
-
• #55374
basically just summed up what i was trying to say in a more direct form. but yes, its a slight contradiction.

• #55375
the whole builds a bit "wanky"....
Sadly the money ran out..
