Those Hetchins bikes always seem to me like Dali had his way with the back end.
I just saw what I did there. -

cool! But I guess after one ride (like that) those plastic wheels will be broken.

pelizzoli needs supercorsa, save zoncolans for modern frames.

I didn't post that Peliziolli yesterday, all because of the flamin' Zoncolan.

- Rubino's + Handlebars are set up wrong. Different saddle, tyres and the handlebars set up properly, and it's golden

For me very close to perfection
But yeah scrap the saddle
Also black bar tape

That Hetchins is one of the few I've seen that I'd own, and the Pelizzoli should have me sitting on top of it to complete it.

Is isometric a kind of strength? Genuine question.
This is the Japanese Tonic (comes with matching randwover). Truly a fantastic looking bike.
"isometric" refers to statically contracting or "bracing" muscles. So they are strongly contracted but opposing each other, so you are staying still but totally rigid.
This is why I made the joke about trackstanding.

Probably a repost but:
There's something about tubs/skinwalls that just completes a traditional bike like this.
I would love to make my bike look like this. Amazing.

I got that. You've explained what happens in isometric exercises.
I'm not sure that means you can ride a bike with a crazy-short reach, or why you'd want to.

Pelizzoli is hundred time nice.
-
• #54473
Pelizzoli is nice just don't like over polished cranks/stem/seatpost on any build and saddle looks shite.

That particular Pelizzoli is a bit meh, because it is faux-retro. Its nice when it looks like quality craftsmanship has created a high performance bike, one that looks stiff/fast/fun to ride.
Faux-retro skinny frame is like hiring a carpenter to make you a mahogany teapot stand.

faux-retro
my brain can't compute this.
