I put them on in 2004, so you can tell that I do so little MTBing that I don't know and don't particularly care what the smart kids are wearing these days.

Whatever rocks your boat, I can also appreciate the aesthetics of a fully loaded touring/exploring bike... but that looks shite, in any way possible. Imo.

BRP Repped for the keeping his discussion hat on. Not all the bikes are the pinnacle of pure aesthetics IMO but I'm enjoying the learning experience. Iditabike added to the list of things to do before I die (Iditarod has been on there for years :) ).

Better keep an eye on the classifieds then for IRO track frames with baskets on the front...Don't let on to the other racers, but i have it on very good authority that apparently they're the best bike for tackling a thousand miles of frozen Alaskan wilderness.

Oh come on, everyone always calls fat tyre bikes "fun" and now all of a sudden it's anti. As a trick bike I say nothankyou (in fact that's what I say to all trick bikes), but I'd love to have some fun in the woods on that thing.
