Parlee, that sounds like it was created by Lee Par of Bognor.
I know it's Bob, just sayin'
Whenever sees Parlee thinks Lee Par

I'd say black bar tape over white saddle...

Neither. It's fine. Match your socks if you like but leave the nice bikes alone.

What, ugly amateurish CNC work? Shimano Hollowtech cranks are much more interesting.
-
• #51414
How do they make Shimano Hollowtech cranks?
They're hollow inside right?
-
• #51415
Yes, they're hollow, I haven't seen the exact process but I think it involves magnets.
-
• #51416
All the best things involve magnets.

NICE! That is the first carbon frameset I actually want. Needs nicer/ more angled down stem + Di2 or RED though, just sayin'

Are you incredibly naive or astonishingly devoid of taste? I can just about see how somebody who had never seen any other carbon frames could come to the conclusion you did, but I imagine most of us will have a long list of carbon frames we'd take before considering that.

TBH I'm a bit more concerned by the fact that you can't tell me how to make hollowtech cranks.
First the
riot pedonews thread, and now this... it's like the whole fabric of lfgss is disintegrating around me. -

The Scuro RS in the flesh is a fantastic frame and does it for me. And I want one.
If your list is special then lets see some pics of these tasty frames, or quit shouting people down.

That's because Shimano haven't told me yet. For obvious reasons, they're a bit cagey about showing off all the details.
I've seen it suggested that the crank is forged with the pedal end open to allow the passage of the mandrel which creates the internal void, then the pedal end undergoes further forging to bring to sides together. I'd speculate that some pretty severe heating then goes on to make the solid pedal end homogeneous before finish machining. -

Well buy one, I'm not stopping you. I think it looks horrible; curved down tubes offend against my engineering sensibilities. From a purely aesthetic point of view, I'd put a Look 595 at the top of my list for carbon ISP road race frames.

I thought it was to increase vertical compliance whilst at the same time reducing lateral flex(?)
... and I'd have to agree with you on the LOOK*:
A custom Parlee in their garish green would be top of my list.
*obv not a white one tho!

The 1st ones, D/A and XTR were 2 pcs welded together. Some kind of U-profile with a cover plate welded to it.
Later ones more or less like you descrided. -

Really like that. Although aesthetically I'm going off the Enve stems, too bulky at the back. The seatpost however!!!!!! Definitely the sexiest one out there at the moment.
