I want to be where that bike is. Looks nice.

I bet most who post or lurk here would gladly own that Merckx (assuming the correct right frame size) and I'm sure we would all make different component choices. Regardless, I think the bike itself is true porn.

The saddle, bar tape and tyre wall colour look too perfectly matched...
If they are so well matched then that's ace. Loadsa win!
(IMHO- i'd probably lace the front wheel differently tho' just to be anal ...)

The English! What's the story there? I need something like that.

Probably not a lot of peoples cup of tea, and I can think of plenty of reasons against it, but I love this at the moment:
KOS Kruiser
Good idea but could have been executed better for me.
All black tyres and yellow saddle/chain are major aesthetic blunders but ahead and 3pc cranks are probably a worthwile upgrade IMO
Should look more like this (less chain guard and reflectors).
http://www.vintagemongoose.com/products/koskruiser.php
I like the way S&M copied the motomag design for the motoman chainring and then mongoose just copied them right back for this.

I think there is a plain one that's got black rather than coloured bits. I agree that tan wall tyres would have been nice, but there are some types of bikes that can pull of random coloured bits imo.
...and Malaysian I wondered about the JE James one too. I actually found that first, which lead me to the nice one I posted. TBH JE James are always a joke when it comes to stock, so having random pics and descriptions isn't surprising. About all they're website is good for is price matching at Evans.

Yellow saddle works so well on that.

The English! What's the story there? I need something like that.
Airline fees for bikes keep getting higher, so I was looking for a solution for a no compromise race bike that could be flown without incurring extra charges. The solution I came up with adds just 120g to the frame weight, and enables easy packing into an airline checkable case. I call it my folding road concept, as the rear triangle folds around the bottom bracket shell and enables a compact package for packing, but the joints are barely noticeable when unfolded.

Don't go there. English are all nuts.

It's the ltd ed of a revamp of an 80s 26" BMX - see more here - http://www.mongoose.com/usa/usaeng/bmx/kos-kruiser?utm_source=bmxmuseum&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=KOS
Not that it's worth anything, but JE James the standard one not in stock (quel surprise).
Oh and that English is fucking wicked! If the stay thing works properly that seems miles ahead of couplers.
