I also don't want to re-start the helmet discussion, but despite the fact that I ride without a helmet many times, I can't find an excuse for that. The fact that you cannot get injured on grass is new to me. Not only because of other people's bikes.

Cech wears a scrum cap (not helmet) because he had a depressed skull fracture that nearly killed him..

Of course you can get injured on grass, you could probably get injured on foam if you were unlucky enough!

However, falling off a bike and landing on grass is no different than a football player falling, a cross country runner falling etc, etc,. yet no-one would suggest they wear helmets (or maybe they would?)

Anyway, enough of that as I am going against my statement of not wanting to start a helmet discussion...
