YouTube- WALL OF DEATH, The building process

    Brilliant.

He's good on a BMX too.

    The sequence is even better...
YouTube- WALL OF DEATH homemade CRASHING

  • this filth just turned up on the 'bay (well the f&f):

  • from the listing: for sale due to terrible fucking back ache!

    gorgeous though

  • from the listing: for sale due to terrible fucking back ache!

I'm not surprised with the cranks at 90 degrees, that would fux up anybody's back.

  • wouldn't be so bad if you fit the bike like so.

  • We've been through this a million times - the saddle to bar drop is fine for a racing bike, assuming you were planning to be in the drops the whole time as you would be for a pursuit or short distance time trial.

  • mdcc_tester, Crane probably mean by being rideable for the London's hipster up and down Clerkenwell Road.

  • Would take very little adjustment to be spot on for me

  • Sorry, BT make the best track bikes in the world but I don't ride track so I don't feel the need to own one.

    ORLY?

These guys make some pretty good track frames and its only a very small sideline they do (along with others). Imagine if they concentrated on it fulltime.

14 olympic gold medals won using their frames... not bad.

    Although you can't buy them.

That said the BT stuff looks nice.

i want this fame so nice

  • Although you can't buy them.

You can. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to use them in competition. Can't remember the exact rule, but it is along the lines of the kit must be available to anyone.

So if you can afford it, you can have one.

  • nice bike :)

thats my home town! glenelg, seaside suburb of adelaide

  • Also home to Wayne Carey and brown tap water.

  • OMFG. WANT.
    My life needs this.

I got pallets... and a yard

  • Location?

  • Here is my project - it was done on a budget and hasn't turned out exactly how I wanted it to.

Going to start a new project with bit more money - ideally would like a track frame with a sloping angled top tube (angled down) with less clearance on the wheels and ideally a smaller front wheel than on the back, as a newbie can you offer any suggestions ?

  • as a newbie can you offer any suggestions ?

    run run RUN!!!!!

(people don't like others posting their own bikes in the porn thread)

    try current projects http://www.lfgss.com/thread6261-414.html

That rule has the status of a "Request For Comment" at the moment, the UCI have mooted it but in terms of frames being "marketable" rather than actually being on sale to the public before being permitted in competition. Advanced Composites are a contract manufacturer for British Cycling, and BC owns the design rights on those bikes and will not be selling them unless they are forced to by a rule change. Team GB athletes aren't even allowed to take them home.

i apologize, silly me have missed the original conversation - please point me to the bikes in duscussion. thanks

Team GB bikes by Advanced Composites were the ones you can't buy. To be fair to Hippy (who started the argument), the BT is one of the top half dozen track frames on public sale, just behind the Koga Kimera, Look 496, Cervelo P3, Walser and Felt TK1 :-)
