Unfortunately I didn't win that auction I was telling you about on Thursday :(
Ah bad luck man.
Also to be fair you probably check eBay more than me so if any of us gets it, it won't be me!

i think that its kinda important that the original picture is on mercian blog and they are all really pleased with the final bike.
there tends to be schools of though with bikes, me i dont get low pros on the road, but hey ! i would never ride or buy a ali frame again, but some love 'em.
i do think it is all part of cycling, even appreciating bikes you would never want to own ! -

sadly there isnt a picture of the complete bicycle. the poster says it was made for nelson vails.
Impressive fellow this Nelson Vails, id heard of him before and his hard working ethic.
But in pictures id seen of him he looked of very average build, but I guess at some point in his career he decided to Bulk Up, and I guess thats what this frame was for.

I think SP's Mercian is lovely, a real head-turner. Tasteful, classic looking but still functional. I wouldn't change a thing, but I would ogle with envy if I saw it cruising past me.
However, no*dice is clearly happy jumping down stairs on his brakless trick frame in some moody urban hotspot, tagging bus stops and tightening his pink spokes, so more power to him.
