If I had a list of things I'd need quick access to whilst cycling, my credit card and a cigar wouldn't be anywhere near the top 10.

actually thinking about that for a minute, what cyclists really need is a cycle through cycle shop.
think about how much you wish you had something whilst riding... -

But surely one has to let others see that one is palping an AmEx card
it remind me of Nido, that student housing full of rich people flashing their daddy's credit card at whatever they see.

I just find it a bit weird.
If I had a list of things I'd need quick access to whilst cycling, my credit card and a cigar wouldn't be anywhere near the top 10.
....List of top 10 things for my new bike:
- Cigar holder - check
- Credit card wallett - check
- Ash tray - check
- Corked drinks bottle - check
- Device to lock bike up in handlebar stem - check
- Stickers on rims - check
- Offset valves with logos - check
- Black saddle - check
- Brown bar tape - check
- Valve on bike frame so I can store camping gas in the actual frame of the bike for when I go in to the wilderness - check
- Cigar holder - check

they would be if you chain smoked cigars though (credit card required to keep up stock as cigars can be expensive)
Worth noting that a cigar would also burn through very quickly when riding due to wind resistance so keeping the holder stocked up would be a full time and expensive (credit card again) job.
Where do you put your lighter and cigar end cutter off thing though?
Perhaps that's on the next iteration? flick a hidden switch and a little flame pops up from the stem bolt hole... I imagine the cigar cutter could easily be incorporated into the end of the drops.
I assume the saddle is covered with quilted velvet?

Re. that Nagasawa there is a great photoset on Flickr (Edscoble comments included) of a Nag that a guy in the US sent back to Nagasawa for refurb due to rust damage.
Tubes replaced, reinforcements added for street riding, fresh paintjob and tees and stickers included gratis on return.

DEFINITELY worth getting touch with Nagasawa-san
Nagasawa-san was generous enough to agree to repair my frame -- and boy did he ever.
I asked that he replace the chainstays, fill a small rub dent on the top tube, and drill the fork for a brake.
He ended up replacing effectively the entire frame except for the BB shell, seat tube, down tube, seat lug and chainstays.
He reinforced the fork and downtube for use with a brake, and added cable guides. Looking forward to the full build!

the customer wanted a WW2 fighter plane paint job apparently.

Keith Hufnagel ->> San Francisco ->> Huf ->> DVS ->> Doughboy ->> Doughboy x Huf ->> Porn ->> Fact ->> I win ->> Buy the damn shoes ->> ;-)
If it wasn't obvious from verb's post, Hufnagel bikes are made by Keith's brother.
brother spare me the education/history lesson. i rode EMB with the chap in my 20's, but hey 30's the new 20. i had no clue he'd done his own bike brand though! thats dope! wished he'd of called it hufanelli.
Keith hasn't done his own brand, it's his brother's gig.

Seminal fighter plane identification fail. It's a Mustang.
AMAZING! I'm starting to love these tribute paint schemes.
The cork-stopped water bottle placement is equally retarded.
