the perfect bike, 1977 and still lighter than most of the modern carbon "fingys" (and drop dead gorgeous)
and its for sale, but you need a tiny body and a massive wallet (actually the price is not that bad considering what u get for it)

Couldn't I just pay with money?

Most amusing.

some hipster will probably ride it on the road. i wonder if you the friction on the tyre/downtube when they ride into a pothole would be enough to throw them over the handlebars?
this happened to someone on this very forum.
if i remember right, he had really tight clearance like that Kenevans with a front brake.
front braking flexed the fork enough for it to jam hard against the downtube and buckaroo him clean off.
for the life of me i cannot remember where or what the name of the thread was. -

I really want a pair...
I have a pair in silver 28 holes unused.

• #21357
These look interesting.....

• #21358
If interesting is a euphemisim for shite, then I agree.
Back on tack and poss repost.........

The positioning of that brake lever is, erm... interesting.

for the life of me i cannot remember where or what the name of the thread was. This would be even more likely with a drilled track fork as the round blades and design were not made to deal with brake stresses.

Interesting, how much you looking for?

as well as the clearance on that fork

27 inch would cause less offence

I'm pretty sure this has been posted before (if not on this thread, somewhere on the forum). But IMO it is well worthy of repost!
And yes, I am aware that it would probably look better with drops. -

Brutal pedal overlap. That was Roberto's.
-
• #21367
Yeah, i heard he sold it almost immediately after he got it. It was for left hand drive. The left side seat-stay and fork arm are chromed.
-
• #21368
actually, maybe it was just the fork-arm...

Brutal pedal overlap.
Not surprised, the rake on that fork must be in single digits
-
• #21370
overlap is way to big 0.0
but i like the colour !

It is a gorgeous frame! If it was built purely for track racing, then i suppose toe-overlap wouldn't be an issue.
-
• #21373
what about the blue frame in the background ? haha
-
• #21374
Love that frame! Roberto and I took it around Richmond Park once. The colour really something close up!

nice one, where can you buy some?
