Not 100% porn, but a nice pic for you all to enjoy :)
and NO, I don't class a Schwinn Madison with a Spok porn! :)

I'm riding one of these and I would love one of those funky wheels on it
It is with the deepest regret that I have to advise that Aerospokes are not available with either a front hub brake or a rear hub gear, so your proposed upgrade to your 'whip' is a non-starter.

Donut, looks like the scene at the end of the last Brighton Night Ride but one. Except replace the sand with stones, and add several conked-out sunburnt riders.

folding bike porn
Gregor Dauth worked with Cube Bikes of Germany to develop this concept folding bike as part of his thesis at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences. This cool bike features a carbon fiber frame, disc brakes, and integrated lighting. The downside of this folder is that you have to remove both wheels to fold the frame then carry them separately.doesn't look incredibly parctical having to carry the wheels seperately but i like it, looks fast

An odd choice; I'd have thought the market for Sheriff Stars was almost exclusively fixed wheel.

^QBP the parts distributors in the US has an "own brand" called All City are coming out with these soon too...

So you haven't sensed the movement towards older styled geared bikes then?
Seems like the next thing for those fed up with fixed gear or just wanting to add a geared bike to their collection.

+1, I agree. There's defo a groundswell of people going for pretty old road bikes, following on from the retro-track fixed-wheel look. Isn't scoble getting geary? He must be a pretty good barometer of bike fashion

EdScoble trend leader? The mind boggles. :-)
There's definitely more interest in retro geared bikes these days. My hoard of NOS Turbomatic saddles is going to make me a millionaire!

getting geary?? what the hell?

• #21271
Come on LycraScobble!
-
• #21272
Yep, as a rebellion to modern bikes people ride simple fixed old bikes then move to old geared bikes and before you know it they will be on modern superlight carbon multispeed bikes and wondering why they didn't just ride them in the first place.
Not worth resisting technology :-) -

Sooner or later it'll be made into a film starred by Kevin Costner.
-
• #21274
not Kevin Bacon?

Nope, Costner. Build it (the geared bike) and they will come
racist.
