Front brake lever should be on the right! :)

Only Brits do that.
Still don't know why.

It makes sense, you use the front brake more "subtly" than the rear, so having on the right (if you are right handed) makes sense.
It's also consistent with the set up on motorbikes.
And it's the opposite of what the French do, so it must be correct.

makes more sense to me. right hand is stronger for the majority of people, for most people are right handed. front needs to be controlled much more carefully than the rear...

Carbon Kalavinka = frameutopia (as long as it's sprint spec'd)

Yeah, but still a UK thing.
US racers and most Europeans, when using two brakes, operate the front from the left.
Must have something to do with riding on the wrong side of the road.

"I'll build a full NJS track bike before I die .."
good thinking thats one of the nicest NJS builds ive seen

That's bollocks, the only way to properly stop a bike at speed is grab the front brake (by itself) as hard as you can while leaning as far forwards as you can.

front brake on the left allows me to slow down safely, change lane and indicate the fact that i am turning right.
sorry if i missed something

Have a look at a side pull brake. The best cable run in was designed for the front brake lever to be on the left .. having said that I've always riden right and aren't going to change ..

but how is this a benefit? you're losing out on being able to indicate left, too. unless we in the UK have a tendency to hand-indicate right more than we do left (I don't think so), the lever should work better on the right.

You're crossing the oncoming traffic flow while turning right, so need more control??
Less of a concern while making a left.

fair point.

so, Europeans and Americans who ride on the other side of the road would benefit from having their brakes where ours are?
sorry if I missed something.

front brake lever on the left if you're playing bikepolo as right hand guy, left handers have them on the right side, short and simple

You could always have a go on mine if you like renan! It's even a level.

I suppose I deserved that for over simplifying it.
p.s. You forgot chains too. I think that there is only one silver NJS chain, the rest are black.
Well, Izumi Supertough is gold and njs... well it's got some black too.
Also, components that are either champagne/gold or silver can be njs, no other colour can. -

OK. For some reason I thought that the champagne 75s weren't NJS, although I know that the Suntour stuff is champagne and NJS. I have no idea where I've got that from though, so it's almost certainly wrong.
I'm 90% sure that the gold Nitto stuff is definitely not NJS though.
