am afraid....
whispers (i don't like that mash cinelli)
sorry! big ugly welds, too much branding, gay go faster stripe stylee paint job, negative stem with risers, warning sticker on toptube, gay saddle, clearly aimed as a street bike with no option for brake - danger danger! too much hype not enough substance.

It does have a brake hole- they're shipping them with a cover for those who wish to ride brakless.
I only know this because I was minutes away from buying one, but then thought better of it, for many of the reasons you've put.
(plus a lack of cash)The original vanity shots were superb, but the more deails released the less appealing it was.
Still in the states it costs less than a normal Vigorelli... -

F/F are nice but that's put together very badly imo

yaarpp
the rims need to be wider or as wide as the frame tubing to make it look lighter
those wheels look pathetic on it
and the saddle looks like a £5 job from tesco's (i know it's cinelli, just looks crap anyway)

Nothing endearing about it whatsoever.....if you're gonna do a fuck up atleast do it like you meant it!

• #15287
oh good. was worried i might be strung up and poked with sticks for public humiliation

Agree too. LOVE the F&F, the colours are sweet, but that build is nasty. It could be done SO much better IMHO.

That Ostrich died in vain. All leather based saddles are antiporn except for period correct usage on pre-1970 bikes and touring bikes for old people.

Threadless style stem + threaded headset = fail
There's a quill adaptor in there which would be embarrassing on my shopping bike

look at the handlebar - the bar and stem is welded together, so frankly as a show bike it's not so bad.

That just makes it an even bigger fail - if you're going to the trouble of custom fabricating a bar-stem, why not go the extra mile and build a quill onto it too?
-
• #15295
because quill stems are shite, ahead/threadless is much better.
-
• #15296
mmmmmm, MrSmith - pulled me up on direction of bar tape yet likes ahead stems instead of quills!!!! questionable...... :)

Oh Mr Smith ! quill stems do look much better.
