Metals is weak by comparison in terms of replay value in coffee shops and adverts - but it's definitely very lovely)Feist - How Come You Never Go There (Later with Jools Holland) - YouTube
At my own recommendation I've been listening to Metals all day. I've decided it's actually brilliant. The horn section all the way throughout the album are on top form.
On the flipside, I guess if a label will pay through the nose for the best musicians to play with you, you probably can't sound that shit.

I loved Feist from when I first heard her on a Gonzales record and on BSS record. her debut album wasn't the reminder though...

Apologies. I don't know why I wrote Debut - particularly as I have the second one (never come across the first, but even then knew it existed.)

3 copies of My Humps? You'll want to hold on to those, should fetch you a small fortune in years to come.

Been listening to a lot of this fellow of late:
Jacques Dutronc - Idole, Uploaded by DustingShelves - YouTube
The sound quality is pants but there is something about his performance that makes the poor sound bearable.

I love that Screamin Jay Hawkins track, there is an earlier version where he was so drunk he couldn't remember what he had sung, but the record company put it out, then the radio stations banned it but it became a sensation
^^that version is the cleaned up one
He also fathered "about" 75 children
The original I think is at 4 minutes in on the clip
