Alu E2 or E3 from c. 1997/8
Edit: Orange have never made a Stainless mtb. They did Nickle plated Cromo P7s in the mid 90's

Rode a rim with a crack like that for around 10 months with no issues. His price is definitely unrealistic though.

This is a good FS MTB frame that might go for very cheap because nobody knows what to do with it and it's not boost. New pivot hardware is about £80. Chuck some 130mm Fox 34s or a Revelation on it and it's a fun bike.

You see these about in Italy sometimes. I´ve been looking for one for quite a while now as the thought of a tandem that one could take into public transport appeals.
I´d obviously do wheelies too. Perhaps fit a headset and brake levers in the back as well and tie the ends of the two handlebars together with a length of string and off you go.

It went for peanuts. If I were 20 years older this would probably be my dream machine.

The last 10 seconds were fun, went from £70 to £361; pity the owner if they have a weak heart ;-)
I might bet a couple of mine out of the shed and dust them off !

Ha. Someone decided they wanted to buy it ^
You’re right, the welding is very “bulky”, it must be aluminium
