Odd, it doesn't look like the better known Pegoretti-made ones, with the dropped TT / extended HT (depending on interpretation...).

Looking at Pegoretti Banesto frames, they appear to be 95' and the ebay frame is 92' which may explain it.

1994 even, but yeah you're probably right.

If you spent £17k on a bike you certainly wouldn't want to ride it in da rain :|

The dropped TT / extended HT ones were the time trial bikes. His frame shapes differed depending on the specific discipline.

Love Tommasini's and this is real nice but slightly hate this seller as he brought the Rourke track bike I wanted and parted it out and yes I'm gonna cry about it because it was perfect for me and couldn't get any signal at work to alter my bid. Bitterness on 10/10.

Also, while it’s a real looker and in great condition, £750 for a nice frame with a distinctly average group set is maybe pushing it.

Don't think I've ever seen 11-speed SRAM TT shifters come up for sale on eBay. Spend £25 on a pair of derailleurs and that's surely the cheapest indexed 11 speed setup out there

Yep, they tended to be, but through the years he rode many different Pinarello & "Banesto" liveried frames. However, as I read all this on the internet, it could of course just be nonsense.

This is from '92. I don't know where you read that Pegoretti made only (or primarily) the TT bikes, but there's plenty of pics from '93 and '94 (like the one I linked to) that show that was not the case.
Anyway, moving on.
