Mate, this thread is for interesting, rare or bargain sales: that's none of those.

£40 shipping?
Delivered by unicorns?
-
• #53705
I've seen a lot of stuff recently with £40 delivery charges. Dunno who they're posting it with, but if I can get a complete bike, packed properly, into a box small enough for Parcelforce to take for £11.99 then they sure as shit can. Shitehawks.

Its the insurance costs which bump up the price. Some people don't like taking the risk incase of damage during transport.
-
• #53711
Definitely doesn't account for £40 though, even with insurance.
Edit: just had a look and you have to buy £700 of additional compensation to get the price up to £40. Most of the stuff I'm seeing is not going to go anywhere near that.

Just so people know, that Neil Orrell TT frame isn't real, it was a Harry Hall but was repainted by orrell when the sponsorship ended

was hoping this wouldnt get posted here. so much want. how much do you reckon itll go for?
-
• #53718
Yea, sorry... I wanted to keep from posting too... then I looked at my bank balance and thought someone on here should get a look in. No idea, but maybe a few hundred quid more than the starting. But it's ebay and december, so anything is possible. Early bids upset people who want to wait, and put them off bidding....but may also start a bidding war.

Also this, gotta be a nice one for someone (I want it, but I should avoid spending money right now).
