Am I missing something or has this auction got out of hand? 500 for a colnago super frame?!?!

• #50159
Yes colnago is a world renowned maker but it is rare in some countries and he offers worldwide shipping so maybe someone in USA really wants it
-
• #50160
One for the big boys.

It says in the description the stickers are added on but she suspects they are correct.
Its a woman selling her husband's frames since he's passed away.
Be nice :) -
• #50163
I sent her a message saying to mention Colnago in the title.
-
• #50164
I'm calling real on the 'Nago. A quite bonkers respray/stickering tho.
-
• #50165

• #50166
Fair enough, I was unaware of that rule! But I know for next time

-
• #50168
I suspect these are genuine.

(I did pick up on her late husband being mentioned)
how many were CTRL+ zooming in??
she did say she'd consider posting but I can see me out of the bidding anyway -
• #50173
She's got more stuff to sell, including "his 4 pro race bikes", a tandem, multiple sets of wheels.
-
• #50174
I'm tempted to message her and offer my listing skills...
-
• #50175
...in return for first pick of the 'pro race bikes'?
Surprising she didn't try and find a former clubmate to give her a hand. Maybe he just always hid from her how much it was all worth.
I bought a Tokai Breezysound guitar from Ebay from someone whose husband had died once. There was a son-in-law hovering around trying to make sure I wasn't going to mug her off and he'd obviously done his homework. Not that I would have tried to anyway.
