I'm pretty sure this pomp had i buy it now of 199 before someone bid, seemed cheap to me. Might be worth contacting the seller if you're after one.

I think the seller wanted a bit more for the bike, and was a bit dissapointed with the amount of money the bike went for. Tbh the seller is a bit silly if that is the reason he split the bikes and selling the frameset, he could have just put a reserve. -

I cant get over the amount of poorly built vintage road bikes being sold at extortionate prices on ebay that have been converted to ss/fixie with simple cable/tyre/bartape and saddle change. I notices this claude butler for £350-+£40 postage .
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330914962373&fromMakeTrack=trueThis seems a joke compared with bikes i see for sale up on this website like when compared with this peugeot with full dura ace groupo on a reynolds 653 frameset, at £320 posted
http://www.lfgss.com/thread105944.htmlIs it just me that gets highly frustrated at this, or does anyone else share this view???

It's the first rule about the fixie trend
the second is the absolute necessity to respray every nice paintjob in BLACK -

Do people actually buy them?

TBH when you live and work in London and your bike is for the most part tied to a fence/sign post/lamp pole, you really don't want something with a flashy paintjob/decals attracting unwelcome attention.
And I heard the fixie trend is over-ish in London with most commuter cyclists now looking for touring bikes :)
Fucking bargain, that's an awesome bike.
