fffffuuuuuu... I really hate using ebay sometimes. Bought what looked like an ace SS beater -TVT92 Crabon frame, campag 50th anniversary cranks, record brakes... pretty damn nice.
Arrives from fucking Belgium, cranks both have cracks in them, stem is stuck, wheel hubs fucked, one brake record, other not... bare jokes. Seller doesn't refute faults but tells me I'm unrealistic and expecting a 'brand new bike'. What a fucking cunt. Good mind to shit down the seat tube and send it back with a fucking rose planted in it.

If you install them correctly, then they work fine.

A while ago, there were just 3 kinds of BB threads: British, French and Italian (okay, besides that there were some unique systems that didn't really belong to a standard like Thompson, press-in systems like Gazelle, BMX stuff).
They all worked pretty well and life was simple.
Nowadays there are so many kinds (like head set bearings), that there is no longer a standard. And each system has a life cycle of max. 2 years. -

Seen this in the flesh. The colour looks better in real life and it is a really nice bike. And it actually was for sale at £1200 ono. Spot on estimate.

It's debatable. Some would say it's a knock off, often called a Chinarello, whilst others would say it's made in the same factory as real Pinarellos but then leaves by the back door rather than the front.
Which one is true, I don't know.
