Is there anything that can be done if you think something on ebay looks dodge?
A Time VX with no "rustdents" and if you look at his history (even though it has be set to private so you can't see previous transactions) there are an awful lot of people saying thanks for the bike. If you had that many bikes surely you would know they aren't called "titanium cranck carbon peddel arms 11 speed doubel"
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/time-edge-vx-carbon-road-bike-/180608961500?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item2a0d220bdcJust under "Seller information" there's a link to "Report item".
It does look mighty suspicious, but I doubt eBay will do much about it. Definitely someone to keep an eye on.
edit: I wonder if the meagre 30 Police officers dedicated to London's famous bike theft problem would be interested in this guy? Would eBay even release information on his previous sales to them?Obviously dsylexia doesn't mean a thief, but his description is pretty contradictory:
"you are bidding for my much loved full carbon time edge vx frame ... i just had this bike.put together"
"cash pick up only from se london or richmond no pay pal no post"Also if you look at his feedback he's sold 6 bikes in the last 6 months, at least one of them carbon (04-Sep-10), and several more before that.
Maybe he's a pro racer or a rich enthusiast with a high bike turnover. Who's to say?

@coppiThat
I didn't say it was stolen, I said it looks dodgy and I stand by that.
It isn't the fact that the seller can't spell that makes me think it looks suspicious, I would find it equally suspicious if he had said 'titanium crank carbon pedal arms' or if he had felt the need to point out 'there is no rust or dents on the frame'. It's just a guess but if you are going to drop £3000 on a 'loved' bike I'd imagine you might know what the parts are called or that carbon doesn't rust.
@peter V
Yeah I'll call him and then pop down to SE London to say 'I think that bike is stolen, I have no real idea and it isn't mine, I just wanted to let you know I'm suspicious of you'.
I tell you what, forget it. I was just trying to flag it up in case it was someone's or someone's mate's, but I'm sorry I said anything. I hope he gets at least £1000 for it, good luck to him, with this and any future sales.Right guys, don't fight over who is right and who is wrong. I did look dodgy, you have to agree.
Got some update on this one.
It was stolen from my friend a while ago. Now just waiting for reply from Police if they can help to get it back.
Thanks for posting it! -

WAIT WHAT!?!
Actually, you're right. Turns out I copied the number across from goofbay wrong.
Until I found out there were that many, I still had a lingering inclination to bid at some point. Not anymore.
