not the frame. perfect if you know someone who's good at brazing -

nice!! horizontal drops in case you wanna humilliate it and run it fixed
-
• #29310
Anybody riding one of these? Might have a punt
Like Max Cannondales are my fave bikes. You won't be disappoint with that frame. They are nice stiff frames little flex making for a feeling of confidence. LIght and aluminium
Just remember the vertical drops thus not too much flexibility with chain tension unless you go for an eno bb or hubZzz, just missed it

Resprayed, and drilled (due to a crack?), 4th or 5th time up, no bites = too pricey.

Rigid MTB with no provision for discs? Only for obsessive collectors at £395 for a fuselage.

Seems a pretty good price to me, besides the Pace is less likely to crack than the equivalently aged Klein (more expensive) or Cannondale (preponderant)

Read the description and you'll find it has cracked already like most of them do.

Ha! Presumption eh.
I would still wager there are less cracked Pace out there than Kleins and Cannondales (as a percentage), both of those are bombproof compared to Manitous though, its all relative.
I definitely dont think lack of provisiosn for discs should put anyone off buying a classic frame though (maybe stick to steel).

For hanging on the wall, it's not a problem. For actually riding in the UK, it's a deal breaker.

You won't get any arguments from me on that :)
