Probably will cost at least £200+ at the end of the day, internal hubs are a great way forward, especially if you intend to keep the bike low maintenance as possible, and can be use with a front derailieur if you want to increase the range to 16 or even 24 speeds.
It does need more than one working brake on it, especially when London's not as flat as Amsterdam.

This is just what I've been looking for!
Been looking at all sorts of trailers and crap so I can take my partner with me on rides... if the "cargo" up front is big enough for her wheelchair this will be the bomb!It might need some gears though.
i don't know if its out of your price range, but there is one of these going in Brighton, just sitting outside a shop, immaculate condition

i think its obv more then £200 but i could have a look for you, whoudl it be wide enough for a wheelchair?

I dunno but they're dirt cheap, which would make me instantly suspicious they're made of playdough...

£60 BIN Ciocc 'Missing wheels'...
Checking out the feeback page of this seller, and found a bunch of bikes being sold mostly for
under £20, dodgy descriptions and lousy knowledge about anything bike related. Def dodgy. -

If you're actually serious about your missus being in a wheelchair, I'll let this go to you.
also if the wheel's 700c, I have an 8 speed internal hubs wheel including all the bits and bobs to put it together with roller brake I sell to you.
