Can't believe he's still trying to flog this under the same premise as before... Although now he's threatening not to sell it at all. Fucking groundhog day!
What good is Dura Ace if the frame doesn't fit? - He should get his priorities right.

If you are selling your item via eBay or another site, and the audience is not restricted to the forum membership, then you should NOT post it on here as it will be deleted (read the first paragraph of this post again). Exception: Other people are allowed to discover your eBay advert and post it in the eBay/Craigslist finds thread, but YOU should NOT do this.
My emphasis.

What's the deal with this?
£250 on the frame £250 on the rest sounds like a fair enough deal to me... if it is 95% new.

The deal is its been listed so many times I've lost count, always at an overly optimistic price and with the same annoying used-car salesman schpiel about it being a 'custom build' (even though it doesn't fit him?). 500 would be an ok price, but based on his previous prices if he actually let it go for that I'd be pretty surprised. Basically, the guy sounds like a douche and I wouldn't want anything 'built' by him regardless of the price.

so if i were to win the bid, does that legally mean i can dismantle him and use the parts for other builds?
all i need is a brain for my new monster.

Won for £90 in the end so I'm happy. My first track frame to.
I'm scouring for the Bay for a smallish track frame and came across this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SANDY-GILCHRIST-TRACK-FRAME-FIXED-SINGLE-SPEED-/330436147526?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item4cef877946#ht_500wt_1182.
Anyone heard much about them/ridden them? Interweb tells me the guy was a pretty snacky mechanic and competed back in the day. Looks like he's connected to Specialized as well. I just couldn't find much talk about the frames themselves. All the seller knows is it's for grass track and made of columbus aelle which seems fairly low end in the columbus line.
Any opinions would be ace.

"The frame is bright metallic blue, with matching equipment, white seat and bar tape and bling, bling and did I mention bling?
Grab a bargain….for the price of a normal ‘mass produced, mediocre, bland langster’"
