Not exactly, still a decent wheel for singlespeed.

Yes it is...You don't often have to pull epic skidz on the track.
(and nobody had bloody post that vid of Jason Kenny doing one...)

no, it's fine for the track.
alot of trackies ride without lockrings.... slowing down kind of defeats the point of being on the track. -

cant read descriptions but looks pretty nice*original headset, bb, fork and the TAKHION crank are included in this auction.[/B]
size:
seattube: 57cm
toptube: 56cm
downtube: 60cm
drop out: 120
Condition:
the whole frame paint are in perfect like new condition, only little few scratches and chip at the chainstay. the frame is like new you can never find one like this.
all the Original parts are includedNow that the auction's is over for the benefit of the seller (sold price is almost = to BIN price), i may say, that IMHO:
- Paintwork is not original
- Seatstay lugs and fork lugs are not the same as those, pictured in famous bikecult Takhion page (also, not the same as those on the few Takhions i've witnessed myself)
So, although i think paid price was fair, i also believe those sprint Takhions, which have more matching details and/or have original paintwork and/or more exclusive models, such as abovementione pre-Takhion Moscow-80 are worth much more than that.
- Paintwork is not original

Really not. You could buy a brand new bike with similar spec for the same price.
If that bike cost £2k to build then he was robbed.

I think Andy's right with the exception of the wheels. If they are the 2010 version of the EA90 SLX, you'd be hard-pressed to find them under £500.
I suppose you could easily find a new alu/carbon bike with 105 groupset for sub-£1k, but the supplied wheels would be well below this spec/price range. Plus he's got DA shifters as a bonus.
Bear in mind also that the Espresso frame is designed for time-trialling (according to PL website) - if you want a general road frame you could probably get something a bit lighter/nicer for you money.
And most important of all, you need to get a bike that fits right and feels right for you, especially when you're spending this kind of cash. There are a lot of other options out there...
Anyone in dorset?
