Can anyone tell me why this yeti is worth $12,000?
Wow, only just notice this.
Just been reading about it on BikeMagic. Original Yeti C26 frameset, selling for $12,000. As only a dozen were made and John Tomac and Juli Furtado rode them with great success, I'm not really that supprised.
BikeMagic story
http://www.bikemagic.com/news/article/mps/uan/7372&?source=weeklyemail&attr=gear1Lovely example of a restored C-26
http://www.bikemagic.com/news/article/mps/uan/6751ED: According to BM, despite only a dozen frames being produced, 50 tube sets were supplied by Easton. A lot of steel frame builders cut there own lugs, and bond steel to carbon. So pressumbly with a little research and alot of money. You could produce a custom C-26 replica shivers slighly

I think it belongs to a mate of mine, I've texted him to find out. He's being somewhat optimisic I think, but then I don't think he's that bothered about selling it, if that makes sense?
