really? looks like a messy project to me..
that bartram is a whole bowl of uncertainty too, i'd say £75 was a good price but given the whole bb thing and the inevitable respray - plus the fact he starts with "selling my...." and then says "looks like it's had some brazing" (suggesting it's not actually been his for very long)... £75 may or may not turn out to be a good price.

Good point PJs. Still, £75 would surely be worth a look?
-
• #20216
I would of thought, I shot a question at the seller regarding the BB area as the paint job looks a little funky around that area, asking him exactly what was done, no reply ... Gone .... Poooof!
75 bucks, not a [I]price[I] Price.

yeah, £75's worth a look.. but at best you're spending nearly that again just in powdercoat as the beautiful champagne finish now has some kind of primer on it and at worst you have a frame to resell as the bb issue might turn out to be as dubious as it sounds.. and convince the next person it's worth a punt.
i'm ambivalent, one of those where i'm happy it wasn't my size so i didn't have to think too hard.. best of luck to whoever on here got it, it could easily be a peach for £75.

Also, the geometry is horrid for London city riding. That Headtube and seatube angle is crazily close to 60 degrees. Nice fork though. I tried to buy it just to steal the tiny rake fork....

EUR 60.- is damn cheap for a Columbus Aelle NOS.
Just one bidder.
Don't really get why SJS are selling this built with fairly bog standard components. Needs to be a tourer, too. And an inch taller. For some reason I'm starting to fall in love with these.
