Seen it in the flesh so to speak! Really nice bike! Worth every penny in my own opinion! Wish it was my size!

also i can't believe someone would sell a bike with a bent top tube and still say the frame is in good condition. some poor sod is going to buy this and be riding around on a deathtrap. shame though... nice frame.

Hi. I'm the seller of the Bob Jackson frame.
I don't really understand quite what the problem is with my auction listing. I have written quite clearly on the item description:
"THIS FRAME IS IN GOOD CONDITION ALTHOUGH THERE IS A DING IN THE TOP TUBE WHICH HAS CAUSED A VERY SLIGHT BEND. THE DAMAGE IS CAPTURED IN THE PICTURE AND I CAN SUPPLY PLENTY MORE HI RES PICTURES TO ANY ONE INTERESTED IN THIS FRAME - JUST EMAIL ME"
I have in the past contacted several professional bike shops including Dave Yates and Bob Jackson regarding the damage and have never been told that the damage is very likely compromise the safety of the frame. Which is why I chose to use the word "although" because other than the ding and the slight bend the frame IS in good condition.
I don't think the frame is a "deathtrap" plenty of poor sods ride around on frames in far worse condition, knowingly.
As for labeling the keywords with "track" and "fixed wheel" I am simply trying to expand the number of potential buyers - which as a seller is quite reasonable. It's the "keyword" field on Ebay not the item description which is different. I don't claim the frame is a track frame or fixed wheel, however there is a possibility that someone interested in "track" and "fixed wheel" might still be interested in this frame - it would after all suit a fixed wheel conversion.
It's only really "spam" to people who spend far too much time on bicycle forums on the internet.
Hands up who they are...
