Hello Folks:
brand new to the forum, started racing as an Amateur in the seventies, gave the sport away then started again in the early nineties and ive been at it sever since. I have a stable of bikes that seems to need constant attention....good to see cycling so popular. -

New to the forums my friend recommend me here I am from Wales (cue the sheep shagging banter) I know this is a London thread but learning a lot from it already, great people here!
I have a brand new Genesis Flyer 2011 model which I am currently getting used to the SS side of things and as Wales is quite hilly is making me push myself to the limit. -

Yep. I live 20miles out of Cardiff up the valley from Newport but I ride with the Cardiff lot because there's nobody riding around me.

Hello. Done some rowing in the past really into cycling now. I ride a Kona Jake but really want to try some fixed gear. BTW does anyone know a good place to start in terms of getting a FG bike on the cheap (like £100), ebay is the obvious one. I'm looking at a number of listings of old raleighs and what not but besides the looks, frame size (60cm) and horizontal dropouts I don't really know what to look for in a prospective FG conversion so can anyone recomend some models I should look out for/stay away from. Thanks

Hi, I'm new and don't ride fixed...
or singlespeed, except when my derailleur breaks...
...which is quite often as it happens... hence I am interested in single speed, but it's really hilly 'round my way...

Hi all. Been lurking for a while but thought it polite to introduce myself at last. Haven't ridden fixed but hoping to build something up from a Carlton frame. Anyone in Peckham, Dulwich area?

Why did you write basically 1 sentence in 3 posts. You do realise ppl are smart here mostly and can see you're trying to avoid the nursery. Did you know it's one of the few ways to get banned here? Don't be so smart.
