Keep an eye on the classifieds for Hilary Stone's seatpost sales. Also, get down to a cycle jumble and you'll find all manner of fun.
Anyway, you're banned Nicholas Webb.

thankyou i shall keep an eye out for hilary stone! i went to ripley jumble sale the other day which was excellent, but i still couldnt find, what im looking for. its a 24 mm seatpost. ive just spent about 2 hours trying to sand down a 25 mm one, which didnt halp things at all, and i inhaled a fair bit of sanded metal as well. i almost cried.
also, if you ban me, i will set up a rival london fixed gear and single speed forum, and will become more powerful than you can ever imagine!

You see. You don't even need to post at all.
-
• #2857
Yeah but make sure you've used the search or Hippy'll hunt you down and gut you and make love to your wife. But yes, that is where to go.
And no worries about the seatpost, some people on here have taken making a shim to a real art. Search it if needs be.

Missing the point here.. It's better if you UseTheFuckingSearch, same as everyone, instead of starting new threads asking about the same old questions.
*Which you haven't... ; )

Hey. I've just signed up to the forums recently. I'm currently building track bike to try and start riding down at the local track near to me and usually ride an old Rourke I picked up a while back.

I though you are ought to ask something, but no, you haven't :-)
Look around, search, join discussion, ask.
Join a ride.
Then buy, sell, share knowledge. -

Hello,
I'm 25, and just moved to london 3 months ago. I was building my bike in my homeland before moving to london, so in order to get some action here, I just bought one.
Have a killer day people -

hey, long-ish time lurker, thought i might finally get round to getting a 'real' bike together soon so will be looking for some parts. Mainly on here for the polo though.
ah thankyou, i shall check that out right now! one of them is a request for a particular part - a peugeot sized seat post, but hopefully i can find answers to may other questions there. and, about banning me - please dont!! my introduction was rash and not thought through, i just wish i could take it all back and start over.
