  • ^ Someone be hatin' on Shimano...

    And welcome. :)

On MTBs Shimano is ok but I would get through 3 Dura Ace groupsets a season compared to 1 Record, plus I prefer the feel of Record Ergos.

  • An opinion based on actual experience?? I don't know what to say. This isn't something I'm used to. I have nothing.

Yes, I was riding on average 20,000 miles a season on the road

It's a very dirty trick to use. I only like Shimano because i don't like Italians [/bait]

Yeah, Armstrong won lots with the help of shimano, and nothing else [/bait]

  • It's odd because everyone knows Shimano are so much better. [/bait]

I'm really disapointed in this thread. Have i tried too hard to manufacture Friday popcorn?

  • Hippy uses shi(t)mano, hippy is not win.

Perhaps throw in a racial slur?

  • Perhaps throw in a racial slur?

I threw in a xenophobic slur with my hatred of the Italians but i guess they are too stupid to realise i'm insulting them.

  • Out of interest is there a a insult name for Sram yet.

I mean you have Shi(t)mano with ShimaNO, and C(ra)pagnolo with Campag*NO*lo. Have Sram cunningly avoided this by not having the word 'no', or a anything easily converted to poo in their name. Marketing genius I tell you.

It's Campag innovates, Shimano imitates and Sram disintegrates.

    Learn something new every day!

    Sram --> Hram?

  • It's Campag innovates, Shimano improves and Sram disintegrates.

    Oh, and fixed. ;)

Well played but i was going with:

It's Campag is shit, Shimano is fucking ace and Sram is shit as well.

    [/bait]

  • Tchhh, next you'll be saying it's Campy and you all ride fixies..........

Dear oh dear, of course you need to preface your posts with [bait] for it to work. If you only stick [/bait] on the end, the text before that won't function. Example:

    Strikethrough works like this.[/s]

    Strikethrough works like this.

    Easy. :)

I am going to rise to your bait now by explaing that i am already very much aware of how html tags work but was merely illustraiting that i had finished baiting in the most simple of ways. [/rising to bait]

  • [bait]is there really a bait function [/bait]

    Apparantly not

  • Shimano make shite fishing reels.

    Quantum FTW.

  • [bait]is there really a bait function [/bait]

No, there really is, but you need to put something into the tags that baits.

[bait]Well, this is a bit laite and inappropriaite. Of course, the tags used in our posts are not HTML tags, which require <>s. They are HTML-style tags. And you again aren't staiting it in proper tags.[/bait] :)

  • ^ Trying to create a proper Friday fight is bloody hard work. :)

  • Low-grammatical-blows there, Oliver. Really scraping the barrel with this one! :)
