This is peculiar, as there is no Dalston Road in Shoreditch. You wouldn't happen to mean Dalston Lane, Dalston?
Welcome!

Use the 'edit' function. Everybody on here who pretends to be able to spell, myself included, depends on it. And you care about spelling. You'll fit right in. :)

• #1412
Spelling should be hastily followed by punctuation and capital letters.
Have fun! There's a wicked thread on dressing gowns somewhere.

Woops, I missed this thread when I first signed up. Hello everyone. I'm in Oxford but London born :)
Still got a few bits and bobs to finish on my first fixed gear but the front is getting to be how I want it.

Hello all,
I'm brand-new to this forum and trying to make my way to the door of posting permissions.
Why? Because something horrible happened to my bike and I think it deserves a thread of his own :-)
But if you want a preview of that just check this shit out: FUCK YOU. No, really, GO FUCK YOURSELF on Flickr - Photo Sharing!@@AMEPARAM@@http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3288/3299279812_d781bbe1d2.jpg?v=0@@AMEPARAM@@3299279812@@AMEPARAM@@d781bbe1d2Don't cry.

Hello Hugh, see my post in the Nursery thread--also, there is a phone numbers thread where you can stick your phone number without it being open to non-members.

Hello New member
I'm an American living in London and when my friend moved home I bought his Langster from him. I figured what the hell, might as well spin the back wheel around and go fixed all the way. Now all I have to do is remember what side of the road to ride on...

Hey guys. I'm from Blackpool but living in Manchester for uni at the minute. Always had
a massive interest in cycling but got put off as the last 2 bikes I put time and money
into ended up getting stolen. Since I've been in Manchester I couldn't help but notice all
the stunning road+track bikes I'd see flying past on Oxford road and from abit of browsing discovered fg. Back at home I've never really seen or experienced it apart from in the
artwork of Mike Giant (check out http://www.rebel8.com for their blog and clothing if you've not
heard of them). I'm dying to get myself hooked up with a bike and just get out exploring
around Manchester, getting a feel for fg and getting myself fit again! Only thing is
I'm currently broke and it's impossible to find a job round here! Think I might have to sacrifice going out for a month or two and chip into the next loan instalment for a bike.
Enjoying having a flick through the threads, learning more and seing some amazing (+some not so amazing) bikes.
Wish me luck
Thanks for reading

Hey guys reasonably new to London and very new to fixed gears. A mate back home used to love them so at his persistence had a ride on his and was hooked. Perfect balance of form and function.
Great site, seems like it will very helpful for a new rider in London.

Welcome.
nicknoxx - That's cool, some nice scenery out there. The A4 through Box, Chippenham, Marlborough is quite a nice road. Some nice long flat sections, and some pretty good hills too.
