I seem to remember MA2s being what you bought if you couldn't afford MA40s. Or is my memory going? You know, a sort of budget choice.

And MA2s are discontinued, so they're cooler... Especially in 27" flava...

This week I have mainly been enjoying Velo-Orange PBP rims. They are highly polished, very shiny with a hugely deep 17mm profile, stainless steel eyelets and only a tiny little sticker over the weld.

Feck. I new Ambrossio did a slightly beefier rim than the excellence.
Well played.

More Ambrosio love here. Can't see myself bothering with much else, TBH, unless I get radically faster and suddenly start to benefit from deeper aero rims.

Ambrosio*- the way the truth and the light.
*unless I'm building with Zipp 520's for hippy..........

I did ask if it said "Excursion".
The image is the only rim that appeared for the related google search.
I guess I could've put 2 + 2 together and googled Ambrosio Excursion. -

Or go for the Mavic Open Pro CD if you want the dark grey look (with grey machined wall).

Hey,
I am after some advice on some wheels, a friend is after a deepish section rim and will be running a front break. The three main choices he was think of was the rigida dp18(the new ones), obviously velocity or I suggested the Mavic cxp33. He wants them in silver.
What would peoples preference be?
thanks,

They're rims, they keep the wheel on the bus go round and round...
Just go for the one that he can afford.

cxp33 without a doubt.
Just built up some MA2s, super low profile... So sexy...
