Fucking love that. Good work.
Would be interested to hear what you both love about this image, put into words?

The lines and how they work together to create tension and direction in the photo

I just like that style if banal landscape. The old building poking out the top is nice too and its just a graphically attractive scene.
Would you prefer a pretty sunset?

No you're a banal landscape

Heh, sorry Vesalius, it sounded a lot less bitchy in my head. Ignore the sunset comment.

Would you prefer a pretty sunset?Came home after a few beers and looked at those photos, and then the comments of praise after it and genuinely couldn't understand why you guys liked it.
But thanks for the replies, it's very useful to hear what you see in it :)
(And last comment ignored ;) )

On the flipside I did enjoy this photo. I find it hard to describe what I like about it, but it's obviously the lines/angles of the stairs etc

More from the grd1
Quite enjoy having a half decent camera in my pocket again, just wish it had a 35mm lens rather than 28mm. Is there something similar for not too much money with a 35mm lens?

-
• #5943
Got the dlux 3 and find it a bit slow 16:9 wide view is the biz but i would go for a fuji xt 1 now its a bit dated.

You're buying the name, this is all.

Now the x100s is out, you can get a fuji x100 for not too much money. I have the 100s, it's lovely. Not as pocketable as the ricoh tho.

Completely agree. Love mine. Wish I could take some good enough photos with it to share. Am in a bit of a fallow period... Hoping doing the one camera one lens thing for a while will re-inspire me....

I agree. I should never have sold mine to ^^
Never mind, I may have purchased another, all black version.
Brakeless, helmet thread. Seriously.
