I keep having 1000 cal lunches.. means I have to keep doing extra laps. My legs are fucked. #doingitwrong

^this is how I've been doing things. My body delivered a massive 'legs say no' on Monday followed by a total collapse yesterday evening. Right now I feel awful.

So much this^
Must be the time of year. Keep thinking 'cant have a rest day. I'm hungry'.

See, this is why I've given up exercise. The hilly ride followed by a 12 mile run to justify a massive cheeseburger and fries on Sunday finished me off. I've decided breaks are nice, even if I don't get to put so much in my face.

76.4kg this morning. Seem to be roughly stable around that point.
Should put me in range of 75kg for June.

I was on the turbo last night and could barely turn my legs over.
Fucking earned dinner though!
I'm going for a smaller brekkie and lunch today and finger's crossed I don't have to step near the LegsOfDeathMachine™

When I want to make room for a pizza, I do the South Circular, starting at whichever end is closest to the venue, to achieve the longest round trip.

I saw a dietician last night for a chat. Let's see if the changes I make do something useful.

On my second week of doing body weight circuit stuff in the gym and loving it. So much more enjoyable than "pumping iron" (read attempting to displace small rubber coated steel dumbbells)

I continue to make progress post skiing when I was eating everything under the sun and drinking too much, down to 72 ish, with the aim of getting below 70kg, at which point hopefully shouldn't have too much spare fat, and I'll increase my calorie intake by a couple of hundred calories per day...

10kg down since the 3rd of Jan. Time to start eating I think.

I have lost 8lbs since new year and I am now sub 60kg just, woo
I stopped eating biscuits and team treats at work, seems to have done the trick.

Biscuit spread waiting for me in the kitchen
Definitely a good place to start.

I'm finding it a bit much as a spread on bread, but scooped out on the giant Yorkie buttons it goes down a treat.

Ha.
It's good on toast.
Also good on pancakes for that additional dimension to clogging your arteries..

It was bought solely for pancake shenanigans; the Yorkie button combo is a happy accident.

I was a bit shocked to find, that despite training hard, and eating carefully. I am still 84kg. So I've been running a Heavy calorie deposit.
Which ended With me being insanely hungry all day yesterday. Even walked away from a double lunch feeling unsatisfied. Then later, when Mrs Smallfurry found a bag of posh chocolates during a clear out. That she claimed were a forgotten present for me, from several valentines ago. I promtly ate them. A couple tasted like skunk cannibis. Which is probably a bad sign.
A Whole New low has been achieved.

But doesn't muscle weigh more than fat?
I've been on a regime since the beginning of the year. I have lost around 4kgs (some weeks I don't lose anything) but my body shape is changing.
I would have expected the weight loss to be greater tbh, as I've gone from doing around 279 steps a day (according to my pedometer) to being a gym and cycle bunny, watching what I eat and not drinking alcohol. -

But doesn't muscle weigh more than fat?
I've reduced the weights I use at the gym, cut out whey protein, and generally up'd my CV work. Considering I already had a lot of muscle, it seems a bit odd.
My Power output on the bike has been working its way back up for spring. Could be some leg weight.
I may get back on the whey protein. More to reduce hunger than anything. But my run recovery seems to have slowed too. So it could be smart all round.

Hovering around 72 again after a couple of weeks of interrupted training and various excuses for eating and drinking too much. Feeling ready to push on to my target weight which if training goes according to schedule shouldn't take very much extra effort!

I just bought a copy of Racing Weight. Pointless, since I know why my weight has crept up and I know what I need to do to get it down, but it's my old uni habit kicking in..."skipping lectures, not doing assignments or learning enough? Buy a new textbook."

Fuuuuuuck - put on 9lbs in a fortnight in South Africa. They know how to eat out there and the wine was ridiculously good and cheap thanks to the exchange rate.
Now I need post Xmas levels of self discipline to get it off for the start of racing season in May except I have a stag do and wedding to attend. Going to have to cane the training and get the mileage in.
